Open-source DOWEL Dining STOOL

Stool designed to utilize off-the-shelf dowel components of standard sizes that can be found at most local hardware stores and with custom 3d printed joinery that is available open-source and could be produced easily at home of by anyone with access to a printer. This democratizing method for furniture creation eliminates unsustainable shipping and promotes local fabrication all the while broadening access to clean modern furniture at a fraction of the cost. Wood finished using “soaping method” perfected by the mid-century danish furniture makers for a smooth matte finish.
