ENzo Spiral dowel coat-rack

As part of the ENZO furniture series, the Spiral Dowel coat rack is designed to utilize off-the-shelf broomsticks or dowel wood that can be found at nearly all hardware stores and a 3d printed screw-lock collet which can be produced locally on most standard 3D printers.

In the same spirit of Enzo Mari’s open source furniture project Autopropogettazione, this democratizing approach to furniture creation and distribution eliminates unsustainable shipping costs and promotes local fabrication all the while broadening access to modern furniture at a fraction of the cost.
